Manby Motorplex offers testing and practice facilities for Clubs and Individuals, on tarmac, loose surface and off-road. PLEASE NOTE: No Anti-Lag Devices are allowed.

VEHICLE TESTING - RALLY

Rally cars have tested on the tarmac facilities at Manby Motorplex since 1979, and since 1988 on the ten plus miles of loose surface roads.

Initially it was used by Minis, Ford Escorts, RS 1800's, Gartracs, Vauxhall Chevettes, Talbot SunbeamsTR8s, then Novas, Mantas, Peugeot 205s, Metro 6R4s, Audi Quattros, Ford Sierras.

The more modern vehicles followed - Cosworth Sapphire, Cosworth Escorts, Subaru Imprezas, and Mitsubishi EVOs.

With two miles of tarmac and up to ten miles of loose non-damaging surface stages, the site is regularly used for single venue events. Loose surface stages can be graded, and cambered to suit professional teams.

MOTORBIKE TESTING - LIMITED TO SHORT TARMAC TESTING

MOTO-X AND ENDUROS

Our Moto X track was built in 1988 for the Wheels Shows and has been used every year since by NORA as well as other clubs and until 2003 we hired out our ground for testing and playing.

4X4 OFF ROAD

Since 1988 we have allowed off road 4x4 trials, Comp. and Hill Rally motors as well as standard road going 4x4's to come and test or play on our hundred plus acres of off road terrain.

At present we do not operate pay and play days for individuals, unless under instruction by our own staff. We expect this to change in the next few months so watch this space.

MILITARY VEHICLES

Ex-army military vehicles have also put in regular appearances at Manby Motorplex, and come out to play! These include Willys Jeeps, Lightweights, Hummvees, Austin K9s, Bedford RLs, MJs, Ferrets, Dodge WC 51s, 63s, GMC , Champs, Humber Pigs, Saracen 6x6s, Stalwarts, REO M35A1's, Leyland Martians, AEC Militants and wreckers Leyland Hippos, Scammells, FV 432s, 434s, Abbot SPGs, Centurions, Sherman's, Scorpions and lots more plus Russian ex army vehicles.
